Hi! I¡¯m representative & CEO Park Hyun-je

Korea has become a superpower across the world
with its active Internet users numbered more than
10million households. Such a drastic development
was largely attributable to technology innovations
accomplished over two different phases. First
was a developing domestic communication network
into Internet-based network, and another, building
a high-speed Internet.
Fortunately, I was standing at the center of such
developments. Since I started working on domestic
Internet network, as a team leader, under Dr.
Jeon Kil-nam¡¯s technical guidance in 1982, I succeeded
in linking Internet network between KAIST (Korea
Advanced Institute of Science and Technology)
and University of Hawaii for the first time in
Korea, that led the Korea to the new era of Internet
in March 1990. I, besides, played a leading role
in launching Thrunet broadband services for the
first time in its kind in Korea in 1997.
Now, I¡¯m going to offer you another technology
innovation.

ZooInNet is set to achieve next generation Internet-related
technology innovation and a solution, and eventually
realizing our Internet-led daily lives, based on information
communication.
Though Korea¡¯s Internet technology is said to have been
playing a leading role throughout the world, it still
has a long way to bring an Internet into the center
of our everyday lives. Next generation Internet shall
be aimed at materializing a ¡°Digital Life¡± that serves
as a tool of making a people happy, adjusting and modifying
an Internet in the light of human¡¯s life style. ZooInNet,
to that end, intends to apply Multicast, a core technology
combining a broadcast with communication, which would
be recorded as the initial attempt in the world.
ZooInNet has been pursuing human¡¯s happiness and prosperity,
further developing and expanding the use of technology,
experience and know-how it has used and tested in domestic
market, and on the other hands, it will make all-out
efforts in shifting existing Internet into the next-generation
ones in collaboration with local and international partners.
